For the first time in a couple months, one of the adult eagles at NBG – female I think – sat next to the camera and posed for a few photos. It was after 7pm so light not the best, and at 7:23 about a dozen kayaks sailed by in the canal and spooked her away.

Great to see her Reese. I bet she is enjoying her “me time” right about now. She and Dad work so hard during the spring it is nice to see them like this. She is beautiful.

I just can’t imagine the turkey as a national symbol compared to this.
We were at NBG yesterday (9/11) and while we were at the butterfly garden, the two adults were playing “tag” above us!!
