March 21, 2014Cutting eagle trees as social experiment continues
March 22, 2014KE is visiting the James River in Surry County. This is a known bald eagle concentration area, so she has lots of company. You can see on the map the Reserve Fleet (also known as the Ghost Fleet) of ships that are not in active service. KE is spending the night in at least three locations including one near the Dominion Virginia Power Surry Nuclear Plant and Hog Island Wildlife Management Area (GREEN).

I love seeing the world this girl travels in. Getting reacquainted with that Surry County area she likes and looking across the river at Ft Eustis and that Walmart Distribution Center/Swift Creek Reservoir she checked out in January. ‘Where she will land; nobody knows!’
