Grace has once again made a return flight to North Carolina. She began on April 16 near Emporia, VA and was on the move east early. At noon April 17 (PINK) she briefly dipped into Northampton County, NC then flew north to the landfill in Sussex County near Waverly, VA where she spent April 18. On the morning of April 19 Grace was on the move again flying south westward (GREEN) and stayed overnight on the northeast corner of the Great Dismal Swamp NWR. By 10:00am April 20 (BLUE) Grace was back in North Carolina heading south to the NC Tidewater Agriculture Research Station (ORANGE) where she stayed until the morning of April 24 when she flew east (PURPLE) and as of this satellite map is on the Alligator River in Tyrrell County, NC – WHITE arrow April 24 at 7:00pm. She’s getting a bit close (about 15 miles) to the refuge fire. I wonder if a coincidence or intentional.
I hate to say this big girl but I wish you would stay in Va. till this fire is out..go hang out at Reese’s house..he would love that…I feel so sad for all the critters down there..we need a good soaking rain and less wind..Thank you for the up date
