My goodness !! One flying north west in the fall.Is that usual ? She will get snow on her wings.
She wants to try some frozen food, she’ll be back.
She sure put some miles on!
Wow! What an impressive route! Can’t wait to see what’s next on her itinerary! Wish she would go to Lake Anna. 😉
Thank you Reese!
Wow this gal likes to travel..So glad you checked in KE.
WOW! How amazing that Azalea and Camellia have pretty much stuck closer to home and this one eagle has taken off and flown to places much farther away! It will be interesting to see if she turns around and flies back home when she encounters colder weather or will she keep on traveling north! Thanks for the update!
I agree Margie, it will be very interesting to see what effect the colder weather will have on KE’s travels.
AZ and Cammy seem to prefer the mid-atlantic milder winters.
Makes me happy! 🙂
I wonder if one or both of her parents are more northern eagles?…she certainly is exploring in a very different way than our Norfolk babies. And so it looks like she flew very near where i live!
Response – Both parents currently hanging out in their nest territory in Va Beach, occasionally going to the nest.
