When we last left Camellia, he was on the Northern Peninsula of Virginia on the Corrotoman River west of Lancaster, VA at 7:00pm July 25. He stayed there overnight then about 11:00am July 26 got up and flew south across the Rappahannock River near Urbanna, VA into Middlesex County. From there, he continued south to the western end of the Piankatank River east of Glenns, VA and spent the night there. About 11:00am July 27 he traveled south into Gloucester County, then turned east flying almost to the Chesapeake Bay before turning back west and landing about 5:00pm on the Middlesex County side of the Piankatank Piver south of Hartfield and just west of Berkley Island. That is where we find him at 6:00am July 28.

I was at the NBG yesterday morning for a class; we were outside, behind Baker Hall when I noticed a juvenile eagle over the old garden and lake about 9:40 or so. Don’t think it was Azalea and we know it wasn’t Camellia, but it certainly could have been one of Camellia’s nest mates. The eagle was all brown.
Yesterday at about 4:00 I saw an eaglet circling around the river behind the zoo for the first time in about three weeks.
County side of the Piankatank Piver south of Hartfield and just west of Berkley Island. That is where we find him at 6:00am July 28.
