Grace has been traveling once again making a 200-mile round trip into Virginia to get to the NC Tidewater Agriculture Research Station (TRS) from the Alligator River – actual miles apart is about 28 miles. Grace began on The Alligator River on April 24 (YELLOW arrow) and flew north to Grandy, NC (PINK), then to the Southern Branch of the Elizabeth River in Virginia Beach (GREEN), then continued to Big Bethel Reservoir in Newport News to rest overnight (BLUE). On April 27 she reversed course flying south back into Gates County, NC (ORANGE) and then on to TRS (PURPLE & YELLOW). As of this satellite map is still at TRS – WHITE arrow May 1 at 3:00pm.
