After a week of resting and refueling with catfish, Grace took up traveling again – back to Virginia!! She remained at the North Carolina Tidewater Research Station until the morning of April 3 when she headed north across Albemarle Sound (PINK) and back into Virginia about 2:30pm. She flew directly to the Little Creek Reservoir in Virginia Beach, VA (GREEN) where she spent the night. On April 4 she continued north across Norfolk Harbor and flew to Big Bethel Reservoir on the York County/Newport News line (LIGHT BLUE). On April 5 she flew west to Isle of Wight County (YELLOW) on the James River. On April 6 she flew north then east back across the James River to the Yorktown US Naval Weapons Station (ORANGE). On April 7 Grace flew south back to Big Bethel Reservoir (DARK BLUE). Still restless, she took a day trip on April 10 back across the James River to Benns Church (PURPLE) in Isle of Wight County. As of this satellite map, Grace is back at Big Bethel Reservoir – WHITE arrow April 10 at 9:00pm. Click on maps to enlarge.
