Grace settled in this past week at the North Carolina Tidewater Research Station (TRS) east of Plymouth. NC. For newer viewers the research station does a combination of agriculture, cattle and fisheries research (www.ncagr.gov/research/trs.htm). In addition, there is also a privately owned catfish station with several large ponds. At times there may be as many as 40 bald eagles visiting this location. From 2009 to 2013 the CCB transmittered bald eagle named Azalea also visited TRS and the catfish farm. This is the second season that Grace has visited here. You will note that Grace is staying at night in two different night time roosts (GREEN pointer and WHITE arrow). Grace is in the second roost as of this satellite map March 31 at 9:00pm (WHITE arrow).
