I received very limited satellite data for Camellia today, but it showed he was in Larkspur at 1:00am this morning on the edge of the Kempsville Greens Golf Course. He has been here before. Despite the very limited data we know just where he was at 1:15pm on Sept 19 because Shirley Yanello got photos of him being mobbed by crows at Kemps Lake off Greenwich Rd, a location he has visited many times. Here is what data I have on Camellia – YELLOW arrow Sept 18 at 1:00am, GREEN pointer Sept 19 at 1:00am, PINK pointer Sept 20 at 1:00am and as of this map WHITE arrow Sept 21 at 1:00am. Thanks Shirley for allowing us to view your photos of Camellia.

Aw, Camellia doesn’t look too happy… It’s still nice to see one of our eagles. Thanks Reese and Shirley!

WOW! That’s the egg I so worried would freeze. Just look at him. What a beautiful, free animal.
He spent Friday night, Saturday morning in my neighborhood. He’s welcome any time.
Shirley, thanks for the photo. Reese, as always, thanks for your work.
Response – Roy, good to hear from you. Amazing that those three eggs survived that 14″ snow!! – Reese
It is wonderful to see Cam, – he is looking so distinguished with his mature markings. He and his siblings were the nestlings that got me hooked and involved with the Best Nest community. Thanks always, Shirley and Reese.
Crows are good for something!! Great pics, Shirley. Thanks, Reese.
Thanks Reese for continuing to bring us up to date and Shirley for the great photos. Those crows can be real pests and must like living dangerously.
