If you are out there trying to catch a glimpse (or photo) of Camellia, you have a challenge!! He has been on the move the past two weeks. However, It is not impossible. On July 25 Shirley Yanello took photos of Camellia at Kemps Lake and Beverly Nettleton also grabbed a photo of Camellia at Kemps Lake on Aug 4 just before he took off and flew back to Pocaty River in Chesapeake. Thanks to both these ladies for their permission to use their photos. So where else has Camellia been? – Brown Cove (ORANGE) – Lake Smith (PURPLE) – Richardson Rd in Witchduck (GREEN) – Centerville Parkway (WHITE). Here are his data points – YELLOW arrow July 23 at 9:00am, PINK pointer July 25 at 7:00am, GREEN pointer July 26 at 1:00am, WHITE pointer July 26 at 9:00am, ORANGE pointer July 31 at Noon, PURPLE pointer Aug 2 at 1:00am, BLUE pointer Aug 4 at 10:00am (Carolanne Farms), YELLOW pointer Aug 4 at 1:00pm (Kemps Lake) and as of this map WHITE arrow Aug 4 at 6:00pm (Pocaty River).

Great jobs, Shirley & Beverly! Thanks Reese for updating. It was tough relying on seaturle.org for accurate up dates. I did see where he went back to Browns Cove but I missed him being at Lake Smith!
Just awsome photo’s ladies..thank you and thank you for posting Reese…Is Cam molting?
Response – Yes Pat. Cam is now 3 1/2 years old. Most molting takes place in Spring and Summer.
Nice sequence, Shirley. Thanks for sharing.
It was so good to see Cammy and was very lucky to get pictures that show his antenna.
He doesn’t fool me though, that Stinker moved to a new area. We’ll be out looking for you!
Thanks for the update Reese, I was having map withdrawls!
Yay! Pics and maps of Cam’s travels! Thank you, Shirley, Beverly, and Reese!
Great pictures ladies! Thanks for sharing them with us.
Hooray Beverly and Shirley! OMG, I can’t believe that tail of mostly white feathers! Our baby is almost grown! Fannyfantastic!! Thanks to all of you who put their heart into finding our kids and sharing it for our pleasure!
Wonderful!
It’s interesting to see that even after 3 1/2 years he still sports the black tips on his tail feathers.
I guess I didn’t expect him to have quite so much white on the head and tail yet. And I remember excitedly watching him fledge. He’s growing up!
Congrats to those who got pics of Cam!
If only older sis Azalea would give us a glimpse of herself. So wonderful to have the boys Cam, Buddy and HK to see from Mom and Dad’s kids, but I wish we could find our girl again. And NX seems to be a wilderness area girl, so hard to get cameras near her.
