Those of you who suspected that Azalea was on her way back to Virginia as of the last map were correct. She flew all the way back to Poquoson – about 100 miles. As of the last map Azalea had just left the Tidewater Research Station near Plymouth, NC – YELLOW arrow Sept 24 at 11:00am. She crossed back into Virginia about 2:30pm then flew over Norfolk and then right to Poquoson, VA – PINK pointer Sept 25 at 1:00am. On the 25 she flew a short distance west to Grafton, VA – GREEN pointer Sept 26 at 1:00am, then a bit further west into York County – PURPLE pointer Sept 27 at 1:00am. As of 3:00pm this afternoon she was at the Newport News Golf Course in Newport News Park – WHITE arrow Sept 27.
