Camellia seems to be attracted to certain places and returns often. Carolanne Farms on the Eastern Branch of the Elizabeth River is one of those places. There is a fishing platform and canoe launch there maintained by the City of Virginia Beach. A quarter mile path leads to it from Gainsborough Rd. Shows as Turtle Lake on the map. Camellia was last at Ashville Park near Pungo – YELLOW arrow Aug 31 at 7:00pm. At 9:00am Sept 1 he appears to be in flight over General Booth Blvd – PINK pointer – heading southwest to the North Landing River to spend the night – GREEN pointer Sept 2 at 1:00am. From there he flew back to the Elizabeth River at Carolanne Farms – WHITE arrow Sept 3 at 1:00am.
