Azalea made her visit to North Carolina short. She began this period in Gibbs Woods just south of the VA/NC line and stayed overnight (YELLOW arrow May 6 at 6:00pm and PINK pointer May 7 at 1:00am). Early on May 7 she flew north back to Honey Bee Golf Course and spent the day and the night (GREEN pointer May 8 at 1:00am). The morning of May 8 she flew east to Lake Tecumseh then north to Red Wing Golf Course and stayed there overnight (PURPLE pointer May 9 at 1:00am).
