Camellia has been traveling to new areas. He began his journey in Glengariff across from Norfolk Botanical Garden (YELLOW arrow Mar 31 at 6:00am). From there he flew to Lake Bradford, to Bay Island to Fort Story where he stayed overnight (PINK pointer Apri 1 at 1:00am). After visiting there the morning of Apr 1 he made a stopover in Brown Cove then flew on to the eastern branch of the Elizabeth River at Carolanne Farms (GREEN pointer Apr 2 at 1:00am). On the 2nd he took a long flight to Redhead Bay in Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge, to Moyock, NC (ORANGE pointer Apr 2 at 3:00pm), then north back into Virginia to Blackwater Creek in Virginia Beach (PURPLE pointer Apr 3 at 1:00am). As of this map he was still on Blackwater Creek just off Blackwater Rd – WHITE arrow APR 3 at 9:00am.
It’s so great to see that Cam is getting around like this. Very interesting data he’s sending back on his travels. I hope he is fairing well out there, doing all his ‘eagle’ things. 🙂
Cam and Azalea are not very far apart as the crow flies! Love the tracking.
