Camellia was last at his home base of Brown Cove in Great Neck (YELLOW arrow Jan 21 at 1:00am). He spent the day of Jan 21 on the Eastern Branch of the Lynnhaven River between Little Neck (including by the Farm Fresh on Va Beach Blvd) and Great Neck, then returned to Brown Cove (PINK pointer Jan 22 at 1:00am). On Jan 22 he flew to Lake Bradford between Little Creek Naval Amphib Base and Chesapeake Beach with shorts trips over to Lake Joyce. He spent the night off Pleasurehouse Rd in Chesapeake Beach (GREEN pointer Jan 23 at 1:00am). Most of Jan 23 he was at Lake Joyce but has returned to Lake Bradford which is where he is as of this satellite map (WHITE arrow Jan 24 at 1:00am).
So nice to be able to folloe the activities of these eagles. Thank you for all you do to bring this to us.
I had lunch outside Thursday, 1/26 at Trantwood Elementary School. I watched a juvenile circle and soar above the Lake Trant/Colonial Oakes area. I believe it could have been Camellia based on his most recent tracks. It was wonderful to watch!
