Mr. Lukei thank you for all you do for the eagles. I had a bit of a strange question. All the eagles tracked are known primarily by their banding letters. Is it possible to run out of unique banding combinations, if so how would they differentiate one say HH from another?
Response – Some of the color bands are a combination of numbers and letters which increases the number of bands available.

Hi Reese – I believe HK is the male from the 2009 nest – my little fella – right? HE is the sister from the 2009 nest???? Could this mean that all three sibs are here together. Oh happy day – Oh happy day.
Reese – Hope you have the happiest of birthdays! What a wonderful day for you to have all this great news!
Response – My boo-boo – HK is a male – Post corrected. Guess I got excited!!

Mr. Lukei, Congo posted your site for us to view.
Thank you so much for the updates on Azalea and Camellia. Great picture of Azalea. Nice to know they are in their home area. Makes the injury to NX a little easier to bear, knowing they are flying free and being safe.
Thanks again for all you do for wildlife and for keeping the Eagle/Critter Nation informed on their travels. Have a great Holiday, you deserve it.
