Camellia has returned to very familiar territory as of July 31 at 1:00pm – the Eastern Branch of the Elizabeth River. He hung around the Witchduck, Thalia, Pembroke neighborhoods July 29 and 30 except for one brief afternoon flight across Little Neck to the Chesopeian Colony neighborhood. He left the Lynnhaven River about noon July 31 and flew back to the Elizabeth River, spending the night at River Forest Shores/Wayside Manor. As of this satellite map at 9:00am Aug 1, Camellia is at the mouth of Broad Creek in Elizabeth Park in Norfolk – white arrow.

I saw a juvie fishing on 8/1. He was on the south side of the EER, at the end of Commonwealth Ave. Wondered if it could possibly be Camellia? May well have been—
Response – At 7:00am Camellia was close by at the end of Sparrow Rd
Thats our boy! I have seen him once and hope I see him again soon! Love that he keeps coming back to my stomping grounds. I hope when he matures, that is where he will make his home!
