Azalea remains at the privately owned catfish ponds east of Plymouth, NC. She seems to have a favorite pond which you can see has a concentration of red data points. One thing new is that Azalea, on this visit , is spending her nights only in the communal roost on private property off Gourd Neck Road. That is where she is as of this morning July 20 at 1:00am – white arrow. Click on map to enlarge.

A well fed eagle is a happy eagle. Question Please: Is this change in her sleeping habits significant? If so, in what way. Thank-you.
Response – Hi Pink – I would not say “significant”, but of interest because in prior visits Azalea has flip-flopped between this communal roost and the one to the SW on Tidewater Research Station property. Have to watch to see if she reverts to old behavior.
As always glad to hear she is safe and still in NC with me 🙂 …..she knows how much I love her. Wish I could get her closer . Our new Randleman Lake is FULL of fish and great restrictions on fishermen too 🙂 Hoping very soon to have Eagles this close.
Thanks Reese, as always , for keeping up with my Diva.
