February 2, 2011January 30 has been a very busy day at the new nest. Nearly all day some activity has been taking place. From before 7:00am both adults have brought more sticks, and several deliveries of pine straw. Then at 1:13 this afternoon the female brought in a fish to the nest which she ate most of. First time this season I have seen food brought to the nest. Then shorty thereafter, for the first time ever, I (and everyone watching the WVEC eaglecam) got to see them mate IN THE NEST. Most unusual.

I can see the live pictures of the nest/eagles with no problem but the chat will not come up. All I get is a long, blue box with no place to click on an arrow to open the chat. Could my virus program have this blocked? and why would it suddenly happen? The important thing is I can see the eagles at the nest. The rest is just irritating. I love the clear pictures of the eagles. It is really great.

It starts the streaming up date, but then tells me there is an error. Blog is coming in and working, just the eagle cam. I watch the eagles last year without any difficulty. Do you have an answer for this problem?

This is in response to my own post about the moderated chat.
There is absolutely nothing in the box next to the live eagle cam. It is blue but that’s it, nothing to click on to open up the chat, nowhere to scroll. It’s as though the arrow, the ability to open up the moderated chat has disappeared from the page. I can get in the open chat just fine but not the moderated.

I can no longer watch the eagle cam. It’s been about a week. I am so disappointed. I changed my browser and it worked for a day.

Regarding the problem of not being able to see the moderated chat:
I have no problems seeing the live feed from the nest, no issues with seeing the Eaglecam. It’s the chat I cannot bring up. It worked until this past weekend which leads me to believe my virus program has it blocked. At this time, I’m running out of ways to unblock the darned thing.
