6:57 female arrives at nest – both poke around at nest pocket and pose for their portrait – 1st photo
7:04 both fly to far end of branch to right of nest and mate – 2nd photo
7:45 male in nest – female on branch behind nest
8:30 nest building off and on this morning – photo at 8:30
9:00 mating session again – on “love branch” this time – photo
10:00 both adults away from nest tree
11:20 male returns to nest then immediately to front branch. Cleans off beak on branch – sign that he just ate – crop looks full
11:30 female flys to nest with branch
11:40 female on back branch – male laying in nest
12:20 both adults on “love branch”
1:02 both adults leave nest tree
1:07 female returns to nest with pine straw
1:11 male returns to nest with pine straw
1:34 THE WVEC EAGLE CAM IS LIVE !!!! WHOOOHOOO!!! TELL EVERYONE!!!

How do we as viewers tell which is the male and which is the female when they are not on the love branch? Thank you for the updates Reese. Any idea when the cam will be back? Thanks again.
lawson – male is smaller and much darker feathers – female lighter brown feathers, more weathered. Male likely had more recent molt
