Grace may leave the North Carolina Tidewater Research Station for a brief time, but just like Azalea who preceded her, she comes right back. The GREEN data points show where Grace is located on an hourly basis. You can see in the close-up map where she sits on the dikes to fish. You will note that she gets started early – 5:00am on May 25 (PINK) and 6:00am on May 28 (WHITE arrow). She also forages in the middle of the day – 1:00pm on May 26 (GREEN). The data points are accurate within 60 feet, so even though it looks like Grace is in the water (PINK), she is actually on the dike separating the fish ponds. Click on maps to enlarge.
