I took a picture of an eagle in a field on Blackwater rd. yesterday, June 11 at 1:22 pm. Field was just North of Margaret Dr. (Just north of Pocaty river)
Response – I will check Cam’s location on next map on June 14 to see if it was him.
Even if it ‘s not Cam..How lucky you are Jodi.Aren’t they beautiful Reese I am watching a nest ..one eaglet ready to fledge..The parents bring food..eaglet mantles..but if parent just comes to nest to be with eaglet..eaglet puffs feathers an chases parent out..
They are so beautiful! I have been seeing more eagles lately! Even bought a pair of binos to keep in the car! 🙂
Just saw another eagle(or maybe the same one?) flying above the Pungo Ferry Bridge 6/12 @ 10:35
A Stinker!!
I have seen an eagle too when I have driven over the Pungo Ferry Bridge. It’s hard to drive and eagle watch at the same time.
Response – There is a bald eagle nest close to that area south of the bridge on the west bank of the North Landing River.
