Cammie, travel safe. Did it get too cold for you or are you looking for Azalea’s catfish farm?
Maple has an airport an the dump is there too..I think at least one pair nest near there .I have seen an adult at the ferry landing flying often ..Seriously Cam I go look for AZ Sunday an you fly over my house..Stinker..
See Pat, he IS a Stinker!! Wish you saw AZ though.
Cammy is an urban dude Magin, no catfish farms for him, for too long anyway 🙂
Maybe he will go visit Uncle Reese soon, it IS a favorite area of his?
I live in Maple. We often see adult/mature eagles in the vicinity of our farm, which is at the northeast end of the Currituck Regional Airport.
We have swamps to the west and south, with tall pine trees and the shallow waters of Coinjock Bay to the east.
Usually we’ll spot them soaring in circles over the area, and once, I actually spotted a mature eagle scavenging a dead fox in one of our fields.
