December 31, 2011Azalea is exploring new territory for her. As of the last map she was in flight over Lake James in Va Beach (YELLOW arrow Dec 25 at 9:00am). She was on her way to First Landing State Park where she was at Dec 26 at 1:00am (PINK pointer). On Dec 26 Azalea made a long round trip from First Landing State Park to southern Chesapeake (PURPLE pointer Dec 26 at Noon), back to FLSP then to Birdneck Point and the Cavalier Golf Course & Yacht Club off Oriole Dr (GREEN pointer Dec 27 at 1:00am). As of this map Azalea is in First Landing State Park (WHITE arrow Dec 27 at 6:00pm). Click maps to enlarge.

Gee, she hasn’t been at the catfish farm in NC for quite a while. Has she gone long periods like this away from there before, or is she shifting the area she frequents?
Response – In 2010 and 2011 she did not go to the catfish farm until Jan. We are almost there, so lets see what she does.
