Having been here in 2009 and 2010, Azalea should be very familiar with the Little Wicomico River watershed. This is her second visit here this fall and I expect she will spend even more time in Northumberland County. Here is where she was – YELLOW arrow Oct 15 5:00pm, BLUE pointer Oct 16 1:00am, PINK pointer Oct 17 1:00am. GREEN pointer Oct 18 1:00am, and as of this satellite map WHITE arrow Oct 18 7:00pm. We are on the Little Wicomico near Sunnybank Ferry. Nice to have a new neighbor! I’ll watch for her. There is also a mature eagle around who I’ve spotted starting in late Sept for the last several years after the ospreys leave.
I have been there several time tryingto find Azalea as well as NX. Nothing but the mature eagle mentioned above. I’m so glad they love it here and the buffet is plentiful of the best seafoods!
It’s great to hear that we have some eyes on the skies there, keeping watch for ‘our’ young eagles. Thanks much you guys. I’ll be sending you lots of positive thoughts!!
