September 5, 2011Camellia spent last Wednesday near the Stumpy Lake Country Club then moved to the Glenwood Honeybee Country Club on Thursday (do I sense a theme here?). He headed toward Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge on Thursday afternoon and has concentrated his movements around Muddy Creek off of Indian River Road. The green outline in the map is the boundary of Back Bay refuge. The white arrow indicates the last position on midnight Sept 3.

In a surprise move on Thursday, Azalea left the NC fish farms and headed north. Her flight took her over the wildfires at the Great Dismal Swamp NWR. She crossed the James River near the James River Bridge on Saturday. Her last location was about 1 mile from the runway at Langley Air Force Base.

I was in Pungo area Saturday, saw a juvie soaring. The area was Sandbridge Road/Colchester Rd… roughly, since I was watching him soar. Could you please check data to verify if it was Cammy? It was Saturday Sept 3, at 130pm. Continuing to Cape Horn Back Bay substation, saw him again towards Muddy Creek Road a bit later that afternoon. Thanks for posting the tracking info, we appreciate it very much!!
