We start and end with Camellia in the same place – at the end of Richardson Rd in Witchduck area of Virginia Beach. However, he has not been there the entire time!! Camellia left Witchduck about 9:00am Aug 22 and flew south to Trashmore II, the Va Beach landfill. From there to the Eastern Branch of the Elizabeth River where he overnighted near Carolanne Farms. Left there about 10:00am Aug 23 and flew to Lake Placid off London Bridge Rd, then east on to Red Wing Lake and spent the night. He left Red Wing about 11:00am Aug 24 and flew north to First Landing State Park near The Narrows, then turned westward flying across Great Neck then Little Neck (right over my house about 4:30pm!!) and back to right where Camellia started his journey – the end of Richardson Rd in Witchduck where he is at 1:00am this morning Aug 25 – white arrow.

How cool is that! Did you possibly catch sight of him, Reese? So enjoy these updates; simply amazing to see where our young Norfolk Eagles are spending their time. Thanks for the time ya’ll spend updating us. Carolyn
Quite a journey! His travels are so interesting. Thanks for posting!
Over your house! That’s amazing…some connection there I think. Azalea and Camellia have been in my thoughts…and all our beloved eagles and birds, as they face hurricane Irene. Thank you so much Reese for your updates.
Mr. Lukei, I know we could have colored you happy that day, couldn’t we?
Hoping Cam, Azalea, Dad and all their siblings are safe in the storm. Prayers for all of you on the East Coast.
I was hoping they’d get thru Irene with all their feathers. Looks like they did.
Thanks, Reese.
thanks a lot for sharing this info! It´s really nice to know about this kind of issues 🙂
take care!
Libby: thanks for filing in for Reese and updating the tracking info. I have been frantic all during the storm. I guess I can breathe a little easier knowing they’re fine. Thanks so much!
