August 4, 2011In May 2010 Dr Bryan Watts and Libby Mojica of The Center for Conservation Biology traveled to Ballard Wildlife Management Area in Ballard County, KY and working with the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources fitted two juvenile bald eagles with satellite transmitters. Both eagles, a female named Kelly and a male named Turner are doing just fine. Kelly is now in Wisconsin and Turner is in Iowa. Yep – it is amazing- those inland guys really travel- AZ & Cammie have everything they want here in the Chesapeake Bay.
