Azalea has not gone anywhere. She is still at the NC Tidewater Research Station and private catfish farm east of P;lymouth, NC. Been there this time since June 18. This map is as of 1:00am June 26 and Azalea is in the communal roost off Gourd Neck Rd – white arrow (let me know if you like the arrow better than the white dot). Click map to enlarge.

Hi Reese, I, too, really like the arrow…makes it super easy to find “the spot”. I always read your updates with great interest. Thanks for posting them!
Hi, Reese ~ The arrow stands out better than the white dot– a nice improvement. I wonder if the owners of the private fish hatchery mind being an eagle restaurant!
Response – The catfish farmers are very aware the eagles are there and “eating” into their profits, but they also know the eagles are protected. Just one of the risks of being a fish farmer.
great news keep up the updates
I think the arrow works great! Thanks Reese for the updates on Azalea and Camellia!!
