Camellia has left Virginia Beach and flown to Norfolk. On the previous satellite map he had just arrived back at the farm field behind Charity United Methodist Church at 5:00pm June 8. He stayed there overnight. The morning of June 9 he made a brief flight further south along the west edge of Back Bay, then made a U-turn north and at the north end of Back Bay turned west and flew into Norfolk and the Lafayette River. arriving in Algonquin Park at 3:00pm. On June 10 Camellia made a mid-day flight north across I-564 then returned to the Algonquin Park neighborhood. He stayed overnight June 10 and 11 in Algonquin and as of this map at 6:00am June 11 is still there – white data point. There is a bald eagle nest in Algonquin with two chicks that should have fledged by now. Click on maps to enlarge.

OOOOO, it makes me nervous that Camellia is flying across those freeways. Hope he’s way up high when he’s crossing those thoroughfares!
