Just as predicted, Azalea has returned to the NC Tidewater Research Station and the private catfish farm. She did make an overnight stop in Bertie County just north of Rt 17 and the long bridge over the Chowan River. She arrived back at the catfish farm about 5:00pm May 31 and was still there as of 1:00am June 2 – white data point. Click maps to enlarge.

Mr. Lukei, It is amazing to see Azalea and Camellia get so close to each then go their separate ways. This is really interesting. Do you how many miles each one has ‘logged’?
Thank you!
Response – Azalea has traveled 7548km or over 4,600 miles. Camellia 2494km or about 1,525 miles. You can get this data on the maps for Azalea and Camellia for each eagle on http://www.wildlifetracking.org
