After spending more than a week getting reaquainted with Alligator River National Wildlife Refuge in Dare County, NC, azalea has taken flight to yet another North Carolina County in which she visited in 2010. At 10:00am Feb 4 she began flying north over Albemarle Sound and by noon had landed in Pasquotank County a few miles south of Weeksville, NC. As of this map at midnight Feb 5, Azalea is on a forested section of Big Flatty Creek that empties into Albemarle Sound.
