Azalea returned to Virginia beach on Dec 2 about noon and has wandered all over from Kempsville, Alanton, College Park, Little Neck, Pembroke, Back Bay, First Landing State Park to last night in Great Neck. Tonight, Dec 4 at 5:00pm, she is near Shenstone Circle in Bayside just off Little Creek Reservoir. That puts her less than 2 miles from Norfolk Botanical Garden by air. Almost home!!

exciting! all cameras at the ready 🙂
What a Christmas present for all if someone gets a picture of her!!!!! Go to it photographers!
If I remember correctly, Ms Azalea came back last year for the Holiday Lights at the Botanical Garden. Guess she just can’t resist when her Daddy goes to so much trouble to decorate. It will be fun to see if Cam follows her her talon steps.
Thank you Reese for all you do.
Response: MVK, you have a good memory. Azalea did visit Va Beach Dec 10-13, 2009. She spent most of that time at Stumpy Lake and the Albemarle & Chesapeake Canal in Chesapeake. Her flight path indicates that she may have flown over NBG but likely did not stop to say “hi” to her folks. – Reese
she’s singing “i’ll be home for christmas”!
