Camellia has returned to Lake Whitehurst across from Norfolk Botanical Garden in Camellia Shores. After spending the night of Apr 10 at Lake Joyce, he flew back to the Eastern Branch of the Elizabeth River and spent the night of April 11 in Virginia Beach behind Arrowhead. From there into Norfolk over Chesapeake Blvd and Little Creek Rd, then to Camellia Shores on Lake Whitehurst and spent the night. At 7:00am yesterday April 12 he was directly across Lake Whitehurst from The Enchanted Forest section of NBG – white data point. Click on map to enlarge.

Hope he does not get into trouble with adults.
Note- he flew over ” birds ” house. He misses her too ? 🙁
Thanks reese
I wonder if he’ll be showing up at NBG soon? If so, I hope you, and the photographers with the long lenses, will catch sight of him!
Oh, how exciting! I bet we are gonna get some more pics of him this week. Hoping!
Now Azalea, get on over the Lake Whitehurst area, too, so the NBG photographers can catch both of you congratulating parents in an afternoon flight. In the sunshine!
Has anyone seen any of the other eaglets from last year? I hope he does not bother the new nest.
