On Friday morning April 8 I received a phone call from the fish biologist at the North Carolina Tidewater Research Station saying “I have just seen Azalea with the satellite antenna”. Our satellite data confirms that she was in fact right there where he observed her. Azalea had been there since about 6:00pm April 3. She remained at the research station and adjoining private catfish farm until 2:00pm yesterday when she flew north across Albemarle Sound to Bertie County, NC and that is where she was at 3:00pm Apr 9 – white data point. Is she on the way back to Virginia Beach? Stay tuned. We will find out in three days.
