Grace has made a round-trip from TRS to Mackay Island NWR and back to TRS. Again we have very limited satellite data with no data on June 5, 6, 8, and 9. Very few data points on June 4, 7, and 10. However we do know that she flew from Mackay – YELLOW arrow – to Bertie County then back to the Tidewater Research Station where Grace is as of June 10 at 9:57am June 10 – WHITE arrow.

Reese, my Q is re to an (artificially made) Osprey nest cam in Severna Park, MD. Can you please help by directing it to someone else if you don’t want to answer it in this forum? There is some black landscaping material under the natural nesting materials on the nest, and it has become directly exposed to the sun light due to the shifting of materials on the nest. The temps have been very high & I’m afraid the nest has become too hot for the two remaining chicks (their third chick died last week just a few days after hatching). I am new to watching Osprey nests & have no idea if this is a concern, or not. You (or, anyone wishing to discuss this) may email me at bjtignor@aol.com. Thank you?
