In May 2016 twelve nestling bald eagles were fitted with GSM/GPS cell phone technology transmitters by the Center for Conservation Biology. Below is the current location of 11 of these eagles as well as a map indicating the travels of each eagle since disbursing from its natal nest territory. WHITE ARROW indicated October 19 location. Great info! Two at Westmoreland, eh? I have a few days off this week and will go see if I can spot them. Yeah, I know it’s not likely, they are probably on the move. Some of your students met at Conowingo today, Sat the 5th. SarahB, Sioux, Maxine and better halves. Wish you could be there.
