Grace did finally leave the North Carolina Tidewater Research Station near Plymouth, NC – for a short few days from May 14 to May 19. She even made a very brief flight into Chesapeake, Virginia at 2:00pm on May 18 (ORANGE pointer) before returning to TRS. As of this satellite map at 6:00pm May 22 – WHITE arrow, Grace is back at TRS. Click on maps to enlarge.

Look’s like you did a big old loop Ms.Grace.The 17th and 18th flying very close if not over me..Carolina Girl…Thanks Reese..Have you had a chance to visit TRS yet ? Would love to see a photo of all those eagles and maybe Ms. Grace too.Are you banding chick’s now? Who is getting the transmitter this year?
Hi Pat – No transmitter on an eagle this season, and CCB has not banded any bald eagle chicks. Too much to do with too few people. I have not been to TRS because I have been in Ireland the past 10 days.
