The cloudy, snowy weather has affected the solar battery on the satellite transmitter that grace is wearing, and therefore there was no data from Feb 27 at 6pm through Mar 1 at Noon. As a result we do not know just when Grace flew to Mattamuskeet National Wildlife Refuge (www.fws.gov/refuge/Mattamuskeet), but do know that she was there on March 1 at 3:00pm – White arrow. She has been traveling since Feb 16 when she was at the NC Tidewater Research Station near Plymouth, NC – YELLOW marker. She then visited Pocosin Lakes NWR and Alligator River NWR. This is the second trip to Mattamuskeet for Grace as she made a brief visit on Jan 23.
