Cloudy weather. Low solar battery voltage. No satellite data. From 7am Nov 24 through Noon Dec 4 the solar battery in the satellite transmitter that Camellia is wearing did not have enough voltage to send data on his location. But finally at 1pm on Dec 4 (PINK pointer) data began to be transmitted and Camellia was back in Chesapeake from his travels to Gloucester (YELLOW arrow). As of this map Camellia is back in a place familiar to him, the Hillcrest – Edinburgh area in Chesapeake, VA (WHITE arrow Dec 7 at 1:00am).

I have been wondering if Cammy had stopped sending. I saw an eagle perched in a tree in someone’s yard on Head of River Road on Saturday. It flew away before I could get a picture. It did cross my mind that perhaps this was him. It was very cloudy, so I could not tell if it had a transmitter or not. Sorry I missed you last week at Honeybee, Reese. Happy Belated Birthday.
Response – Thanks Peggy
