Fishing must be really great at the mouth of the Upper Chippokes Creek where it empties into the James River. Grace is still there – WHITE (Sept 2 5pm) and YELLOW (Aug 30 9pm) arrows. All she has done is fly back and forth between Prince George County (north) and Surry County (south). I suspect Grace is not alone, as there are likely other bald eagles keeping her company.

It must be a great show to watch them fishing around that area.
After spending a lot of time checking out context, I discovered this is at most, only 20 miles from Jordan Point, where some of us have gone to do the James River tour, offered by Capt. Mike. -And this may mean other CCB friends are also close by! AND, even the Westover and Berkeley Plantations are within quick access (Noted WCV eagle releases!) In fact, Capt. Mike was presenting a tour of (spawning) Sturgeon Run on the James today, Sept 4th! Small world! Let’s hope they detoured a bit further east and got pics of Grace! Wish I was there! -Thanks Reese!
