Grace is fishing in the James River in Charles City County, VA. The past four days she has not flown far. This section of the James is a known concentration area for bald eagles, so she has lots of company. With the sharp turns in the river the outer side is shallow causing fish to swim closer to the surface making foraging for fish easy for the eagles.
