Relax!! Breathe easy! Camellia’s transmitter is still sending data. Don’t know what the problem was, but I did get satellite data this morning. Camellia has been visiting both the Gloucester County and King and Queen County landfills in Virginia. He knows both these locations well having been there many times in the past. Here are his data points – YELLOW arrow Sept 30 at 6:00pm, PINK pointer Oct 1 at Noon, GREEN pointer Oct 2 at 7:00am, BLUE pointer Oct 2 at Noon, ORANGE pointer Oct 3 at 7:00am, PURPLE pointer Oct 3 at Noon, and as of this map WHITE arrow Oct 3 at 3:00pm.

Yay! Thank you, Reese.
Now YOU can breathe easier! Glad it started transmitting again! Thanks!
Response – Yeah! Me too!!
Thanks Reese. I am still missing Azalea. What will I do when Cams transmitter goes? I will have to adopt a younger eagle to follow. Do you have any suggestions?
Response – You can follow the Osprey wearing satellite transmitters fitted by CCB – http://www.ccbbirds.org – click blogs – click Osprey
This is wonderful news thank you..look foreward to his next check-in
Reese, was glad to see you heard from Camellia the next day. Lynn, Thanks for asking about younger eagle to follow! I just checked out the Osprey Trak and blog, and met those 3 male osprey from local nests (Rice, Jett and Thurston!). Very cool. – but sad to hear that their nests seemed to have no surviving young this year. What a story.
Lynn, we still have KE (Saw Penn nest, CCB eagle) from the 2012 season, too.
