Camellia is attracted to the east end of the Eastern Branch of the Elizabeth River behind Carolanne Farms (Kempsville area) for some reason. He comes here often. My guess is the fish are easy to see in the very narrow shallow waters, especially at low tide. The wide open marsh areas make for easy flying. I have seen other bald eagles and osprey in this part of the river as well. Here are his data points – YELLOW arrow July 10 at 4:00pm, PINK pointer July 11 at 1:00am, GREEN pointer July 11 at Noon, BLUE pointer July 12 at 7:00am, ORANGE pointer July 13 at 1:00am, and as of this map WHITE arrow July 13 at 6:00pm.
