Camellia has been checking out some familiar and new places in Virginia Beach. On the last map he was behind Tim Nuckols house (Nuckols Tree Care) behind Pembroke Mall Shopping Center – YELLOW arrow Mar 24 at 5:00pm (stayed there over night too). Next morning he flew south across I-264 to Mount Trashmore and Lake Windsor – PINK pointer Mar 25 at 7:00am. After a few hours there Camellia flew to the Bow Creek Golf Course (sound familiar!) – PURPLE pointer Mar 26 at 1:00am. He then flew southeast to the intersection of Dam Neck Rd, London Bridge Rd and Harpers Rd (Castleton neighborhood and Oceana Naval Air Station Golf Course) where he spent all day Mar 26 and 27 – BLUE pointer Mar 27 at 1:00am, GREEN pointer Mar 27 at 8:00am and as of this map WHITE arrow Mar 27 at 6:00pm.

So good to see Cam reporting in ..I have a question Reese..Watching Richmond eagle’s last year R 1 was realy agressive to R2..even pecked a bald spot..As they got older that changed and everything was alright..Don’t see this behavior in Falcon chick’s..Does this happen with eagle’s only..the agressive behavior in young?..Thank you for the update..
Response – This type of agression occurs among most raptors during their first two or three weeks. Sibling rivalry.
