God speed little girl. Chasing you was fun even though you hid well 🙂
Thanks CCB & Reese.
On your way! It has been great following you through the years. Thanks Reese and staff.
Thanks CCB and Reese for all the updates. It has been a fascinating odyssey. We are still on open chat. Have missed your visits.
Oh geeze I knew this was going to happen.. Thank you Reese and CCB..but it still makes me sad..Hope she stay’s in the area and is spotted..maybe even with a pix once in a while…Safe travel’s Az my love..
Darn. I was hoping to see where she builds her nest…
Now getting pictures of her will be all that sweeter because we don’t have the aid of a satellite telling us where she is even though she hid pretty good even when we knew the area she was in. Thank you CCB and Reese Lukei for keeping us updated on her travels over the years…it’s been a learning experience and it was nice watching her mature. I’m sure where ever she ends up she will continue the legacy of the Norfolk female.
What a magnificent creature you are! We’ve loved following you as you travel the air waves. We look forward to crossing paths with you again.
Thank you to Reese and CCB for keeping us in touch!
It’s been quite a journey, Azalea. Godspeed.
Azalea, I hope you are well and happy, and that the future holds a good place for you. We will keep watching for you so check in often.
Take care big girl.
Thanks Reese et al, -always!

I learned and loved watching you in the nest thru keeping track of your roaming, so glad you are still in this area so we can see you sometimes.
Adding my thanks to Reese and CCB for this experience.
Thanks so much CCB and Reese for tracking her!! Bitter sweet we no longer will have this info. Agree the pics will be dearer!!!
Our girl is so grown up… will still be watching our fav photogs for glimpses of her…. Godspeed.
No, no, no!!! Well I knew this day would come but I was in denial. I am hoping she will be one of the regulars that will choose the area for her mate & nest.
Thanks for the years of tracking, Reese. It’s been an enjoyable journey!
Azalea, it’s been a great journey with you. Until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand.
Many, many thanks to Reese and all those involved in CCB EagleTrak……just outstanding information.
I knew this day would come. It has been my pleasure to observe her travels. When I think of her, my fondest and funniest memory was her looking at the bird that had been delivered for dinner and she had no clue what to do with it. I sat here and laughed while my own dinner got cold. Thank you Reese for all you have always done for us watchers from afar.
Thank you Reese for tracking her all this time. One of my favorite memories of her is the pic that Shelley got of her and Dad during the midair fish exchange!
Thanks to all who made keeping track of our Azalea possible and informing over the years!! Hopefully our “eagle eyed” photographers will capture her now and then. Fly free and strong beautiful girl!! May your mother’s legacy live on through you and your young ones in years to come!! Special thanks to Reese and CCb!! <3
Oh, no. It’s going to be hard not knowing where Azalea is. Here’s wishing her a long and healthy life, and here’s hoping intrepid eagle photographers spot her from time to time. Thank you, Reese, for all the many reports you’ve put together and shared with us.
We knew this would happen some day. We had our ‘ride along’ with her longer than we thought. Hope she has a good life – she had great teachers in Dad and Mom Norfolk. She should do just fine. Thanks Reese and CCB for tracking our Diva. 🙂
Guess this chapter of following Azalea has come to an end – just when I was beginning to understand those maps! Hopefully she will stay in the same areas and our wonderful photographers will be able to update us on occasion. Thanks CCB and Reese for all your informative updates. Have a good, bountiful life, Azalea.
Be safe sweet girl….
Fly long and proud, Azalea! You carry forward a great legacy from a wonderful Lady. May you bring more beautiful birds into this world. I hope our wonderful photographers catch you in the area once in a while.
Maxine…that’s one of my all-time favorite memories as well.
Reese…thanks for keeping us up to date with our girl for the past (almost) four years. I’ll miss your comments about her travels.
It has been wonderful following you, Azalea! I have been dreading this day and it has come. Fly free, find a great mate and bring more beautiful eagles into this world. Stay safe wonderful, proud eagle.
Thanks Reese for all your hard work and keeping us updated on our babies.
I have so enjoyed following her travels…thank ou to beautiful bird and those who made it happen!
Oh my heart is hurting…still life goes on. Be safe and happy in your world Azalea, and let us in with a sighting/picture every so often! Thank you Reese for touching our lives with eagles…
Azalea…I will miss seeing your travels.
Say it isn’t so! I just checked in…and this is my Easter Sunday present? Azalea means soo much to many of us. She is her mother’s daughter, and has big talons to fill! Thanks from the heart to Reese and CCB, who took us along on her journey. I pray for a long safe life for her, and her siblings, and hope that we may see more photos of her! Godspeed Sweet Azaelea!
