Azalea is back in Virginia Beach at the maintenance facility for Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge – http://www.fws.gov/backbay/ – on New Bridge Rd, and the office for Back Bay Restoration Foundation – http://www.bbrf.org/. She was last in Chesapeake south of Elbow Rd – YELLOW arrow Nov 6 at 9:00am. Azalea left there and flew east to the residential neighborhood known as Sherwood Forest on Princess Anne Rd (Rt 615) to spend the night – PINK pointer Nov 7 at 1:00am. She spent the next night on BBNWR property near Lago-Mar off Sandbridge Rd – GREEN pointer Nov 8 at 1:00am. She flew to Sandbridge on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean – ORANGE pointer Nov 8 at 10:00am, then to New Bridge Rd and the BBNWR maintenance area for the night – BLUE pointer Nov 9 at 1:00am. As of this map she appears to be in flight flying southward – WHITE arrow Nov 9 at 10:00am. I am off tomorrow to Haines, Alaska to attend the Alaska Bald Eagle Festival – http://baldeagles.org/festival. Back on Nov 20.
