Just like Camellia, our girl Azalea has not gone anywhere since the last map on Oct 16. She is still on the Lafayette River near the Willowood Bridge. She crossed Granby St once yesterday to visit the site of the Algonquin bald eagle nest – BLUE pointer Oct 18 at 4:00pm. Here are her other data points – YELLOW arrow Oct 16 at 11:00am, PINK pointer Oct 17 at 7:00am, GREEN pointer Oct 18 at 9:00am, and as of this satellite mapWHITE arrow Oct 19 at 9:00am.

Response – Yes – an active nest – two chicks last year and two chicks year before
Oh Azalea – you are so close to some of us. Stay safe and I’ll leave the light on for you.
Thank you Reese for keeping us so well-informed of her whereabouts. I look forward to each update.
