March 10, 2012Camellia is still at Lake Bradford and Little Creek Naval Amphibious Base. He is making visits to the golf course but spending most of his time near the lake. He is spending his nights on private property in the Chesapeake Beach neighborhood rather than on the Naval Base. I notice some points at the Chesapeake Bay shoreline. Do eagles hunt in the shallows large bodies of saltwater?
Response – Eagles will forage on fresh water and salt water fish. Not unusual to see them on the beach after a storm feeding on dead fish.
