Camellia, like Azalea, has been staying in the same general location the past 4 days – flying back and forth across I-64 from Lake Taylor to Lake Whitehurst. Camellia began this period at Carolanne Farms on the Elizabeth River in Va Beach (YELLOW arrow Feb 14 at 1:00an). He relocated to Lake Whitehurst on Feb 14 and stayed overnight (ORANGE pointer Feb 15 at 1:00am). He spent most of Feb 15 at Lake Taylor but spent the night on Lake Wright on the south side of I-64 (PURPLE pointer Feb 16 at 1:00am). Again on Feb 16 Camellia spent most of the day at Lake Taylor and over night there (GREEN pointer Feb 17 at 1:00am). On the 17th after spending the morning at Lake Taylor, he flew north across I-64 to Lake Whitehurst and was there last night (PINK pointer Feb 18 at 1:00am). As of this map Camellia is back at Lake Taylor (WHITE arrow Feb 18 at 12 noon).
UPDATE – Yesterday morning Feb 18 about 7:30 Duane Noblick once again was in the right place at the right time to capture images of CAMELLIA as he took aim at a Great Blue Heron on Lake Whitehurst. You can see his photos on www.norfolkeagles.com then look under Photographer’s nest. You will also see a great photo (NBG male with stick) by Robinelizabeth and many other photographers.

I see Camellia was back checking out the homeplace again. I am so glad he seems to be flying west of the airport, not over it!
So glad that she came back to visit her birth home. May be she wanted to say hi to dad and his new female:) Can’t help to have human emotion attach to her.
